These solutions reduce IT costs and complexity, they save time, space and costs as compared to traditionally architected storage, and they are supported by a powerfully simple suite of management software making it easy for users to achieve highest level of productivity.
- Modular Storage Arrays (MSAs) storage solutions are designed for entry-level and mid-range SAN environments, but offer the flexibility to start small and migrate drives and enclosures to larger configurations later. They also have the unique ability to allow customers to move ProLiant 1" universal SCSI drives into a SAN using DtS (DAS to SAN) migration technology.
- All-in-One Storage- All-in-One Storage solutions are Hewlett-Packard's simplest yet. They deliver breakthrough simplicity and affordability for businesses to grow, manage and protect their data without having to understand storage technology. The seamless blending of file serving, shared storage array, and data protection functions under a radically simple management umbrella delivers outstanding value and utility without the cost or complexity of traditional options.
- Disk Subsystems- HP StorageWorks Disk System provide HP Integrity and HP 9000 servers running HP-UX, direct attach storage capacity and expandability in their Fibre Channel environments. Each HP StorageWorks Disk System enclosure holds up to 14 hot-pluggable FATA drives of various sizes and speeds, which can be mixed and matched in the conveniently packaged 3U of rack space.
- ProLiant Storage Servers- HP Proliant Storage Servers are easily deployed and operated Network Attached Storage (NAS) solutions which are easy to deploy and use. They offer dedicated file and print servers and industry-standard hardware and software.
- Clustered NAS Gateways- A high performance NAS file server, HP Clustered NAS Gateways provide high throughput to leverage existing and new SAN or iSCSI storage for either Linux or Windows.
- Scalable File Shares- Hewlett-Packard StorageWorks Scalable File Share (HP SFS) solves the I/O bottleneck typically found on Linux clusters requiring scalable storage. Using SFS20 disk arrays, HP SFS provides industry-leading price/performance across many terabytes of highly reliable, high-bandwidth storage. HP SFS is a powerful file server that gives users of Linux clusters scalable storage that is easy to use and administer. HP SFS shares bandwidth by distributing files in parallel across Linux clusters of industry-standard server and storage components.

i. Brocade Switches (B-series switches)- B-series switches and directors are used by enterprises worldwide as foundations for mission-critical SAN environments. High-speed, intelligent B-series storage networks enable small departments and global organizations to access and share data in a consolidated, manageable, and a scalable manner. ii. Cisco Switches (C-series switches)- The C-series family of multilayer directors and fabric switches is a comprehensive line of SAN switches that provides an effective way to access, manage, and protect growing information resources. The MDS 9000 family helps customers drive SAN consolidation, increase data availability, and efficiently manage storage resources. iii. Routers and Gateways- Routers and gateways offer superior scalability, long distance and integrated multi-protocol support, and powerful network services for resource sharing. iv.QLogic & Emulex HBAs- Qlogic and Emulex Fibre Change Host Bus Adapters offer single and dual port fibre channel server connectivity to HP StorageWorks arrays. These HBAs are the newest HBA architecture offerings in lower cost, higher performance Fibre Channel connectivity.

i. Enterprise System Tape Libraries- Enterprise System Tape Libraries can be partitioned into multiple virtual tape libraries and have the capacity to hold up to 44 tape drives and 3542 slots with a choice of tape technologies. They can also be integrated into Extended Tape Library Architecture (ETLA), which simplifies the integration of the tape library into a SAN, improves backup reliability and automates the management of the entire library. ii. Enterprise Modular Tape Library- A modular enterprise tape library designed to provide robust data protection and investment protection in heterogeneous 24/7 Storage Area Networks (SAN) environments. iii. Modular System Tape Libraries- HP StorageWorks MSL6000 Tape Libraries provide centralized backup in a single automated device. These libraries are ideal for medium to large IT networks, with or without a storage area network (SAN), experiencing uncertain data growth. The MSL6000 Tape Libraries offer best-in-class tape technology including the HP StorageWorks and Ultrium tape drives. iv. Tape Autoloaders- Hewlett-Packard tape autoloaders boast a single tape drive with multiple data cartridges and a robotic changer, capacities up to 6.4TB, choice of tape technologies, and direct-attach or over-the-network backup. v. Tape Drives & Media- Setting new standards for capacity, performance, and security, HP tape drives can store up to 1.6TB per cartridge while providing hardware-based data encryption to enable greater levels of security and unprecedented performance. vi. Virtual Disk Library Systems- A disk-based, iSCSI-connected storage solution which provides unattended backup and improved restore performance for small, medium, and branch office customers. vii. Disk-to-disk Backup Systems (D2D Backup) - This storage solution provides reliable data protection for many servers in a single, self-managing device. Your daily backups become fully automatic, requiring less manual handling and therefore reducing the risks of human error and hardware problems. Also, performance is better because this one device can back up four servers simultaneously. This disk-based solution lets you quickly restore lost or corrupted files. Consolidating your backups simplifies your life - not only are there fewer devices to manage, but the browser-based interface lets you manage your backups from anywhere. For small businesses looking for a better way to protect their data, the HP D2D Backup System is an affordable solution- costing less than the price of an autoloader. viii. Command View Tape Library Software- Hewlett-Packard tape software establishes back-up security and configures new tape drives and slots after a library upgrade.
