SIM, ICE, Insight Dynamics & VCEM

On-Site IIS Software Deployment Services for up to 16 servers

Services are delivered on site with some of the services performed remotely. These service are intended to provide modular integrate services for System Insight Manager, Insight Control, and Insight Dynamics in an HP server environment.

SIM Appliance Deliverables

Install a VM containing SIM and MSDE
Server inventory (firmware, serial#, etc.)
Fault monitoring/event notification
Predictive fault analysis

SIM Full Version Jumpstart Deliverables

Install SIM and MS-SQL server on VM or client provided server
Server inventory (firmware, serial#, etc.)
Fault monitoring/event notification
Predictive fault analysis

VCEM Jumpstart Deliverables

Verify up to date SIM server is available
- If not, order SIM full Jumpstart also
Install VCEM module into SIM server
Integrate up to 6 enclosures into VCEM

ICE Full Version Jumpstart Deliverables

Includes all SIM full jumpstart tasks
Power Management module setup
Rapid Server Deployment setup
Virtual Machine Management
Performance Management module setup

Insight Dynamics Jumpstart Deliverables

Includes all ICE full jumpstart tasks
Capacity Advisor setup
Install of Virtualization Manager
Installation of Insight Orchestration

Note: Creation of Orchestration automations is outside the scope of this service.

Client Deliverables

Provide physical servers for these services
Provide software licenses for these services
Provide network and infrastructure access to targeted servers

SAN Based Data Migration Service

Services are delivered onsite over a one month period of time. The migration services are designed to migrate data from an existing storage array to a new storage array in the same or remote locations if connected via high speed WAN connections.

Requirements

Verify that both storage arrays are accessible through an existing SAN fabric
Verify that there is space and power to support the IIS SAN migration appliances
Verify SAN driver revisions for appliance integration

IIS Deliverables

Provide base Project coordination
Assess SAN & Storage Array environment
Assist client with Migration Questionnaire to collect existing storage infrastructure and configuration information
Create a data migration implementation and fallback plan
Create a phased migration schedule with defined outage windows for Prod/QA/Dev servers
Zone migration appliances with both old and new storage arrays
Assign LUNs to applicable servers
Offline data migration from old array to new array
Un-assign old LUNs
Remove migration appliance and assign LUNs from new storage array to applicable servers
Online migration services will be quoted upon request.

Client Deliverables

Complete Storage Migration Questionnaire
Provide input for a phased migration schedule with defined outage windows for Prod/QA/Dev servers
Zone both storage arrays to migration appliances
Verify existing application server LUNs are assigned to migration appliances
Verify the LUNs are visible and accessible from application servers
Verify data migration and final LUN allocation
