    connections per site
  • Access to Switches/routers
  • Identify Applications to be accelerated

Deliverables

Plan

  • Obtain IP addressing for all devices
  • Identify traffic to be excluded from optimization
  • Identify base rule requirements
  • Network Diagram for deployment
  • Timeline review with customer
  • Schedule deployment

Note: QOS and domain design will be quoted upon request

Build

  • Program devices as per design
  • Ship to remote locations

Deploy

  • Central site devices installed on-site during
    pre-scheduled maintenance window
  • Remote site installations scheduled for install during maintenance windows (Support available via phone and web-ex)

On-Site Deployment Services

Services are delivered on site.

Requirements

  • LAN and WAN diagrams
  • Dedicated ISCSI switches or VLANS
  • IP addresses for each P4000 node and a
    virtual IP
  • PC or Virtual machine on which to install the Centralized Management console (CMC)
  • Access to server Administrator
  • LUN and server definitions
  • Access to Switches/routers

Deliverables

Plan

  • Verify LUNS and server connections
  • Verify Network design
  • Calculate requirements for Multi-site if necessary

Build

  • Configure Storage nodes
  • Install and configure CMC
  • Create 1 cluster
  • Add nodes to clusters
  • Configure Multi-Site if applicable • Create volumes (up to 10)
  • Configure snapshots
  • Configure Server connections (up to 5)
  • Install MPIO drivers if required
  • Configure DNS, SNMP, Alerts, NTP • Documentation
  • Configure Asynchronous replication if necessary
    – can be quoted upon request
  • Install VSAs on existing ESX servers
    – can be quoted upon request
