A large, well established and fast growing NYC based IT Systems and Cloud Services Integrator is seeking a top performing Senior Sales Executive to join our Hybrid Cloud Solutions team to focus on selling Hybrid Cloud Solutions including cloud software (ie: HP, VMware, RedHat, Microsoft), public cloud services (AWS, Azure) and professional services.

As a Senior Sales Executive, you'll be responsible for promoting our unique vendor agnostic approach, selling cloud services and providing hybrid solutions.


Our Hybrid Cloud Solutions team is looking for a sales professional with experience selling VMware, AWS, or other private or public cloud solutions, so they can build their own book of new business with enterprise and commercial clients in the NY or NJ. The Sales Executive will serve as the primary sales representative dealing directly with new clients (hunting); developing and closing new sales opportunities in order to meet and exceed revenue targets.


  • Conduct planning activities for prospective client base; ensure the go-to-market plan is aligned to sales and services plans.
  • Engage prospects in a consultative led approach to gain an understanding of the business issues and objectives driving the client's needs.
  • Identify the need for and engage the appropriate internal resource, vendor or partner personnel with the proper skill set to assist the solution and technology definition as required by the customer's use case requirements.
  • Maintain strong awareness of the Hybrid Cloud Solutions offerings.
  • Maximize key partner/vendor programs.
  • Most importantly, we need someone who works passionately, generates opportunities that translate into profitable deals and delivers long term demonstrable client value.


Here's what we are looking for in candidates for this job:
Key requirements:

  • 3+ years of experience selling VMware and/or Public Cloud (AWS) services.
  • Has an understanding of value prompters for IaaS, Backup as a Service, DR as a Service, Desktop as Service.
  • Knowledge of any of the alliance partners, including VMware, AWS, RedHat or HP.
  • 3 years of outside IT Services sales experience
  • Minimum of a 4 year degree required.


  • A track record of success identifying and closing opportunities.
  • Solid communications skills with the ability to present in front of groups of people.
  • Microsoft Office (word, ppt, and excel) skills
  • Interpersonal skills and the ability to develop strong client relationships.
  • A team player who can engage and work with other team members.
  • Can execute a sales strategy and leverage value based solution selling.
  • Ability to influence others and close business.
